Case Study

WHITBY TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB

In the summer, we were approached by Whitby Town Football Club of the Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division to provide a solution to their hospitality problems at the Towbar Express Stadium @ The Turnbull Ground.

The brief was simple – a comfortable space that could function as a bar and a classroom/events venue, with an unrivalled view of the pitch.

The solution was a modular structure that was lifted on to a raised platform, with a viewing balcony across the front for people to be able to watch matches from.

It is now in place at the club’s ground, complete with electricity, water, Wi-Fi, a  bar with draught beer, tables and chairs. It is used regularly on matchdays to house and entertain the club’s guests and sponsors, who can watch the game in comfort from the balcony at the front of the structure. During the week you will also see classes taking place, both through the day and on a night, meaning it serves its purpose as a multi-functional venue.

“DEALING WITH INSTANT MODULAR SOLUTIONS WAS
A VERY EASY PROCESS, WITH EVERYTHING DESIGNED TO THE SPEC WE GAVE THEM AND THE WORK COMPLETED TO A HIGH STANDARD AHEAD OF TIME. THE RESULT IS A CLEAN, COMFORTABLE AND MULTIFUNCTIONAL SPACE THAT ACTS AS A HOSPITALITY LOUNGE ON MATCHDAYS
AND A CLASSROOM OR GROUP FACILITY
THROUGH THE WEEK.”
